When it comes to tablet PCs, this year has been full of surprises-the release of iPad 2, Sony Tablet S, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10. 1. Maybe you are considering to buy one of them.

1. Design
Sony Tablet S doen’t try to be the thinnest, as it gradually gets larger towards the back, but we’re taken by surprise by its remarkably lightweight feel (21.09 oz), which is mainly attributed by its glossy plastic exterior.
The iPad 2 comes in black or white and it has these dimensions: 9.50 x 7.31 x 0.34 (241.2 x 185.7 x 8.8 mm). It weighs 613 grams.

4. Connectivity
Both tablets have the expected Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities but the Tablet S has the advantage of Universal Infrared Remote and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) technology features. Simply put, this technology allows the user to wirelessly transfer digital content from the tablet to any other DNLA-capable media device which could be anything from a TV to a Blu-Ray player.
5. Price and availability
The Tablet S is available in 16GB and 32GB versions, like the Apple iPad; however, the iPad 2 also offers a 64GB option. The Tablet S 16GB version sells for $579 and the 32GB for $689, cheaper than the iPad 2 equivalents, which are priced at $729 and $839 respectively.
